The family-run bakery Schlotz in NĂ¼rtingen offers a three-year apprenticeship as a pastry chef with a focus on cakes, tortes, pralines and chocolate specialities. Apprentices learn traditional and modern techniques and apply their creativity in designing the products. Requirements are a good lower secondary or intermediate school leaving certificate, enthusiasm for baking, craftsmanship, careful working methods as well as teamwork and a willingness to get up early.
